The Recipe For Pretense Poem by RENATA GERS

The Recipe For Pretense

classified in the convention

we can not too much

move away from the mold

not to hurt someone's feelings

we let gestures

through a sieve ideas

season the word

with a hint of a smile

when we achieve the goal

dump the mask

on neutral ground

and we look at the face

uncritically
