The Reigning Dark Poem by Ellen Mendez

The Reigning Dark

Tiredness endures from brightness to darkness,
Where lonesome covers joy and happiness
When will the light endures?
Where day and night, darkness that rules?

Fighting, enduring to the battle that brings pain,
Where agony; emptiness we can only gain
When will this darkness comes to an end?
If life has always been to an extend?

When, will this darkness change?
When life has always been challenge?
Tiredness, lonesome in life had survive,
Where darkness has always been on revive

Darkness swallowed the light that exist,
And nothing more wanted to insist
Life living with agony and pain,
Wondering where to find that marvelous gain

When will this darkness comes to an end?
If life will end, still darkness would ascend?
When will this sleeping light arose?
If it was concealed in thy darkness deepest glows?

Darkness that ruled in thy place of time,
Where life can't do anything but bow to thy prime
Life that awaits long to thy brightness far,
Reveal thy light; we will follow thy star
