The Repeater Poem by Ima Ryma

The Repeater

Rating: 4.5

Radio waves that do repeat
Have been bursting from outer space
For years in mysterious beat,
"The Repeater" - a baffling case.
So excited scientists are
Theorizing if this or that,
And trying to pinpoint the star
Where the source may be nearest at.
Ah yes, a puzzle to be solved,
"The Repeater" hopefully will
Repeat as science is evolved,
Curiosity to fulfill.

Perhaps repeat messages be,
"Coming to pick you up, E.T."
