The Runner - Poem by joey cooksey

i am so scared i am so tired can't stop running cant stop to breath. cant outrun him cant get away he says don't run but i do anyway. i run and run until i fall and cant get up. i hear his footsteps walking up from the mist behind me. so scared so tired can't look back cant run away just another soul that couldn't outrun the reaper.
