The sad truth

When there are sorrows
The truths are more
Clearly revealed
Like the stars of the night.
Against a background of black
White is the most intense colour
The pain and sorrow begins with
The cutting of the umbilical cord
Pain and sorrow stay with us
Between the stars
It is raining,
It is shining
