The Saga' Poem by Ishaka N'subuga.

The Saga'

Rating: 5.0

Dear child, there was an onion
It was king when Russia was called Soviet Union
Even before the reunification of Germany
It's rule was of tyranny

It was king when Ronald Reagan was US President
This is very evident
The time when smartphones were a myth
Oh yes! when Steve Jobs was a youth
When automatic cars were a dream
Which is now a visible beam
Indeed, there are even double_deckers

It ruled even back then
When South Africa had the apartheid
They all cried and cried
But it could not step aside
Even when my parents had not met up
Now, they already hooked up

This onion still wants to push on
For all those years it was on!
