The Sea Caves Poem by Elia Michael

The Sea Caves

There where the sea has many shades
Where it meets the shore in waves
Where the foamy water cascades
There I stand above the caves

I do love this nature reserve
I love to look out at sea
Especially when I observe
The sun glinting back at me

It reflects in a million
Fragmented pieces of glass
Or pieces of gold bullion
Or yet shiny bits of brass

I watch them as they are glancing
Those millions of pieces
All delighting in their dancing
As the sun’s power increases

My self is absorbed in nature
I become a part of it
An insignificant creature
One that hardly matters a whit
