The Secret Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Secret

Rating: 4.7

Let me have a drag of yr cigarette
And I'll tell you a secret
I am not the person who wrote this poem
As I am an imposter
I sit alone in front of computer
With my dog waiting besides me
I never had a romance or even a kiss
I sit alone watching TV every Saturday night
And go to church on Sunday morning
I don't even smoke; to tell the truth
I just wanted to try it
Because I live an unexciting life
Wishing something to happen

So did your dog write the poem? Dogs are great. I just posted a poem called " Best of Friends" . My daughter-in-law posted a picture today of her youngest son - - my youngest grandson - - on Facebook, and I loved the picture so much that I wrote a poem to go with it.

sometimes unexciting and as usual indifferent chores/daily works bring boredom in life......

Living! ! An unexciting life! Facing the odds. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
