The Secret Is To Let Them Down Easy Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Secret Is To Let Them Down Easy

when you were young and wise a teenager
when girls looked at you with puppy dog eyes
you had an easy choice not to hurt their hearts
if you knew exactly what they wanted in their hearts
if you knew exactly what they wanted from boyfriends
if what they wanted you could see they saw in your eyes
if what they wanted you could see you met their expectations
if what they wanted was romantic you solving their problems

you could appear to be the opposite of all their desires
you could happily be the opposite to let them down easy
if they think your not what they want they do not stay
if they think your not what they want they will drift away
in a small town or in a city you can't always get what you want
top shelf is sold out early little variety you cannot stay you go away

Or go out the farms and rural areas to get a nice pliant bimbo you have to teach how to operate a tv remote. A woman is a human.
