Nobody likes the serpent, but for some it is the source of livelihood. The one which you are referring to does have split tongue which bites not but divides. I See a political satire in your short poem. Very thoughtful poem.100++

The Biblical perception is amazingly reflected in this wonderful poem. In the Garden of Eden role of Serpent is amazingly captured and thought is expressed very cleverly. We remember back the verse of Genesis 3: 3 in which the serpent tempts Eve to eat of the Tree. But Eve cleverly tells the serpent what God has told her. This poem is excellently and brilliantly penned....10
