The Sky Is Still Blue Poem by Chukwuemeka Ezeamalu

The Sky Is Still Blue

The sky is still blue over here
The winds still carry sounds near
The sun rises at the fall of dawn
And the stars at the wilt of dusk

Why Would the heaven's eye dimmed
When above, my eyes no cloud behold?
Thou the width of the ocean distanced us
Yet, in me, you're all my heart whispers

Why would the nearest star blurred
Where the farthest over glowed?
And many voices that rode the wind,
In my chest, yours is fed and cared
