What had happened to the child within..
I reflect on all You do..
How did I wander away within..
Were my eyes so closed to You?
You held my essence within Your Hands..
kept me with You all the way..
Whilst I slept in loneliness..missing You so..
Time crawled past until that day
When Your kiss awoke my very soul..
Poured the child back into me..
and from a longing that I could not explain..
You drenched my heart..and set me free
Never once did I deny You my Friend..
even though my essence was still
You watched over me..till the appointed Time..
and awakened Love..at Your very Will.
