The Slit Poem by Garland Jodie Jeen

The Slit

</>The visual dimension limits my vision

but my olfactory nerve is still active

I smelt the spermine

Temperature after intimacy

Is that an invasion or a mergence?

I can see a body part through the slit.

The wine snakes along..

Avoiding the bed

And something bad.

Witness behind the slit is timid

but what is in her eyes is vivid

A slit such narrow,

yet enlarging a secret scene.
