The Smell Of Twisted Ways Poem by amanda day

The Smell Of Twisted Ways

Kisses turn into the
sweetest dreams,
sweetest nightmares,
torcherous touches
and a starry night,
I thought,
hoped I would have died,
turn to page 17,
chapters in my life
getting burned in the
ashes of your sarcasm and
rude remarks,
my shames and lies
fills our insides,
butterflies turns into bees and moths,
drawn to the light in you,
almost stopping the flames,
burning out the candle,
drawing away,
passage two,
page 23,
stop implying,
as our nightmares catch
up with us and become the future,
making reality a dream,
and fantasy fiction
