A pack, a gun and a uniform
To keep the peace he’s been sworn
In the sun, the rain or snow
Ready for action he’ll always show
This isn’t his way, he had no choice
He must listen to his government’s voice
If it were up to him
He would go back home again
But he must wait until his mission is done
He must wait until this war is won
