The Sorry Lover Poem by Joseph Mcgarry

The Sorry Lover

I try to hold her tight,
Keeping her close with all my might.
But she folds away to sleep the night,
Waking to the bliss morning light.
I admire her wonderful sight,
While i ask is everything allright.
My jittering teeth i bite,
Waiting for the awful fright
That concludes this apparent flight
Of a lovers way to write.......
