The Spark That Burned Poem by Silence Dogood

The Spark That Burned

Rating: 5.0

It didn't mattered what you did.
It was what you did to me.
To make every moment seem so special.
To make your name the name I breathe.

It wasn't the words between the lines.
It was what you never said.
To fill the silence that spoke our love.
To make your the path the path I led.

It couldnt be the love you gave.
It could only be the love you got in return.
To fill the beating of our hearts.
To make your spark the spark that burned.
