The Story Poem by David Kinyanjui

A story is told,
Of those that are bold.
The ones that are as strong as a stallion,
Who go out of their way to clinch the medallion.

A tale is given,
Of a place that is a safe haven.
Those that are in sixes and sevens,
Find solace when they call out the heavens.

A story is written,
Inspired by brokenness, nothingness and being beaten.
Should such story lack emotions and truth,
It equals confidence in someone unfaithful, a broken tooth!
