The Story Of His Love, As Written By This Writer...

i must have misinterpreted
my reality.
Look at me, i am devastated
like a forest turning into
a desert.
my leaves are all gone,
i am the skeleton of the tree.
Loot at me, i am all sand,
my water is gone.
It is not your fault.
It is mine, i love you,
and you never promised me
that you will love me.
i presume that i can touch
the sky and gather all
the stars for you.
I failed. I presume that
i can have the moon, i
failed.
Loot at me, i am a fool.
Once a clown, turning into
a fool. A beggar, a vagabond.
A pirate without my sword
and ship.
A lion without my teeth.
A human being without my mind.
Look at me. How could you not
at least, love me for a while,
until i die.
You are a lake which gathers
all the waters and fish for
yourself.
You are the sky claiming
ownership of all the stars.
You are the sole owner of love.
You have not shared a morsel
for this dog.
I've done my part, it was sad.
You live, You love. Solely in
your world.
Is it not that love is meant
to be shared? You had it for
yourself alone. And the other.
But never in myself.

The lesson is learned.
I will write another chapter
of this story.
Without love, without dreams.
The king in me. My throne too
Alone.
