The Story Of Two Poem by Mariam de Haan

The Story Of Two

See those people there

Two fishes in the wind
Yearning for water

Two dissected spirits
Moaning for redemption

Two innocent children
Playing grimreaper

Two wandering souls
Basking in hell

Just two young people
Disguised by age

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem because I wanted to show that what you see as two people could be anything. You see two people but I could see two sticks floating in the wind. That's what I wanted to play with.
