The Summer Bliss Poem by monique jason

The Summer Bliss

The cheerful sounds of laughter
the whispering breeze
the splashes of the water
and the wind in the trees.

It's summer in the North
the favourite season of the year.
The time for celebration
the best time to cheer.

It's easy to see that everyone enjoys the summer
there isn't a frowning face,
or a tear about to fall.
Instead the clouds are dancing in synch with the leaves
that pirouette in the breeze of this summer bliss.

The sun greets your arrival every morning of the season
with it's phenomenal rays of invigorating warmth.
The sun which is placid and the smiles that are omnipresent
surrounds the joy at heart of every living thing.

And at night the moon is ostentatious
with its light upon the world,
the heat of the sun still remains on the face of the Earth
and warms the shimmering waters.

The description of the summer is inarticulate,
but phenomenal is a strong word to describe the joy that it provides.
