The Sweet Songs Of Love: 1-The Moon
As the evening descends
The hot, thirsty,
Sun-burnt Earth
All through
The-day-long anger
Become calm, quiet,
Cool, relieved
As if a baby in tears
Is back in its mother's lap!
Noises around settle,
Reduce to a silent zone-
Till the heart beats of a lover
And the song of the stream appear
A yard away-
The cool breeze carries
The sweet fragrances of
The blossoms in and around.
