The Tattooed Soul Poem by Tom Simon

The Tattooed Soul

Rating: 3.5

She came from the hill country near Palermo,
A beautiful and capable woman
Who radiates like a beacon on a rocky shore.
She is the beautiful woman of the night.
A survivor, she has lived life and bears the scars of the experience.
She is better for it and it shows in her artistry.
Others have shared my life, girlfriends and partners, children and pets.
But they were only able to paint the surface of my being,
While amica mio inked my soul, a tattoo destined for eternity.
