The Thin Line Poem by T.. Veronica

The Thin Line

Rating: 4.5

There is a fine line between...

Love and Hate

Good and Evil

Light and Darkness

Hope and Despair

Life and Death

***

And in all these things,

Most of us are in the middle,

The grey area~

Waiting,

For our moment of clarity.

***

For who it is, we are to become.

It’s in this frozen time,

We remember the past,

This mistakes we made, the paths we did not take

And our fear of repetition makes us weary to look at the future.

***

So we will remain here.

Unchanged,

Unmoved,

and uncertain

Altering the natural balance of the thin line, takes us to either left or right of the line i.e life or death, light or darkness, love or hate, angel or demon... A well articulated piece of poetry insightfully penned with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
