The Tide And The Moon - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

Ask the ocean my love
And she will tell you
Of my undulating love
That longs to cascade
To your sandy lips
Every passing second

Ask the moon my love
And she will tell you
Of my effulgent love
Sculpted to perfection
Like a flawless circle
Gazing at your golden beauty
From my heavenly seat

For there is a man out there
Waiting to surrender
To your arcane world

Now and forever……
