The Tin Tin Tree Poem by Richard D Remler

The Tin Tin Tree

...................

Up, up high in the Tin Tin Tree
An Ostrich Owl watches me
To see whatever he can see
From up, up high in the Tin Tin Tree.

He'll peruse my homework with a scowl,
This mumbly, grumbly Ostrich Owl,
Hooting with every illicit vowel,
This grumbly, mumbly Ostrich Owl.

When I've made a mistake, he'll click and clack.
And when I've fixed my err, he will take it back
Until the evening's here, and it's dark as tack,
And the Tin Tin Tree all fades to black.

When morning comes, dawn beckons me,
And wide awake, I peek to see
This Ostrich Owl watching me
From up, up high in the Tin Tin Tree.
