The True Meaning Of Love By Alfred Loveland

:
Love is a sacred word with meanings far and wide
Love is when you feel all those butterflies inside
Love is a feeling of being wanted and understood
Love is when you look into their eyes
And it makes you feel so good.
Love is when you feel so hurt the pain will never go
The only cure lies in their hands when its said I love you so
Love is when you argue and nearly come to blows
Then you have second thought's and call them a so & so
Love is when one's passions scream out to be released
And it falls on deaf ears, all because one love has ceased
Then love has a different meaning the glow inside has gone
The love and passion we once shared, and to the world outshone
Now becomes bitter and the meaning is not the same.
Hurt sets in, tears too, then comes the pain.
Only this time the butterflies have been replaced,
From what was once love, and my life embraced
Turns now into feeling hurt and utter despair
And now for sure it is well beyond repair.
