The True Sight Of Loud Beats Poem by Manda Lorden

The True Sight Of Loud Beats

There you were, the most precious ocean wave rushing through me
Believing my eyes was the first step in truly being able to see
Pictures have done your beauty no justice
But there isnt one thing about it i havnt missed
Every time you spoke to me, you took my breath away
Filling my lungs again with every word you say
Gazing at you, suddenly its you, whom i adore
Breathing in my exhale as i breath in yours
You understand why certain connections find new links
In the sea of beats your eyes met mine and it me truly think
Just how a penguin stays so close i always found you next to me
When you lifted your voice, you lifted my gravity
When i left with out dated return it actually felt wrong
But seeing you again felt as if i was never gone
When i was laying next to you my heart was ready to explode
Was i really having you to myself to have and to hold?
Your body so close to mine, i became hypnotized by your heartbeat
While you held me i asked the universe to put that night on repeat
Your touch was my certain surrender
Your true comfort was my only desire
It seems like ive known you and every second falls far behind
I completely feel off balance when you touched your lips to mine
You pulled me into you and while touching my face
I felt you smile through our lips as my heart quickened its pace
Could this possibly be the beats of love at first sight?
Then how is it even possible to feel this right!
