The Truth Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

The Truth

All them one's you hung ‘round with
Got nothing on real quality
None of them got style
So they've got nothing on me
It's my talk, my walk, their jaggers
A knock off don't have no swagger
What I'm saying is, I'm the greatest
Who has ever lived
Ain't no theories from me
it's largely derived
Stop listening, listening, to the lies
Soon you will know I'm the truth
What you see is on the surface,
what's underneath ain't worth it
Got nothing on real quality
So they've got nothing on me
It's my walk, my talk, their jaggers
A knock off don't have any swagger
What I'm saying is, I'm the greatest
Who has ever lived
Ain't no theories from me
It's largely derived
