She wonders why her life
Isn't more like that
Of a wife on TV
The love they show
Seems to always glow
The whole family seems
Like a big happy dream
She wonders why her life
Can't be more like that
Of a TV wife
TV is not reality
Most of what we see
Isn't the way of you and me
That's why a TV life will never be
