The Unicorn Poem by Gianni Pintus

The Unicorn

Star wars begin in this cold dark light,
Centurions start to throws arrows in the night.

Machines shadows under the rain,
The holy war begins in this earth insane.

Constellation in peril between the uranium walls,
Metallic rain around the Cyclops lost souls.

The Aliens are fury and attacking with screams,
The witches begins the coldest night of mean.

The horizon is lost in middle of nowhere,
The people of mars are starting to beware.

Orion's and fairy helping the cause,
Light sabres are dying in their own house.

Galactic soldiers ready in the rows,
The celestial princess is calling her show.

A glimpse of light through the crystal maze,
The sun fallen but the mountains raises.

The horrid ghosts are gracing the night,
Venus is waiting the arrival of the first knight.

The rift is now open over snow,
The grizzlier is angry and starting to show.

Soldiers in the sun with their shining uniforms,
So it begin the painful lament of the first unicorn

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The mating complete Pegasus has sired (a difficult feat) In union with what else, But a Unicorn herself. Now there is for all to see A Unipeg (or a Pegahorn if you please) , That flies through the air Effortless, without care. Wings spread wide As it follows the outgoing tide Horn pointing upward and beyond The earth for which it'd been spawned. Then disappearing from sight In dawn's early light. Gone. Now only in our dreams The Unipeg remains to be seen. s
