The Train Poem by Gianni Pintus

The Train

Rating: 5.0

The semi-empty wagon,
was cold and dust,
But I remember you,
Sitting just opposite,
after left the rush hour,
in the city.
I still remember your smile,
the blue eyes, you dark long hair.
I still remember you ask,
'what time is'
Then silence around us,
But your angel face,
is still on my mind,
still alive in me,
I still feel you breathe,
I still remember you said
'goodbye',
then you faded away,
in the frosty morning,
and disappear in the thick fog,
I still see the shadow lay in the path,
but this station is empty now,
and today I'm awaiting,
the train with impatient,
hoping to see you again,
in the same wagon.
