The Vacuum Poem by Helen Faith

The Vacuum

A vacuum is an empty storm
That comes and goes as it pleases.
First it fills the dreamer's head,
Then the holes of Swiss cheeses.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this in the late 1970s. I was enamoured of Ogden Nash at the time.
