The Veil On Her Face Poem by Eman obied

The Veil On Her Face

Rating: 4.9

-ok, I'm not into politics, I dont have anything against frensh people,
I'm just a Sudanses teenager who saw something on the news against Muslim women who wear veils, which I think doesn't harm those who thought they should ban it.

The Veil On Her Face

Reveal that veil off your face
Uncover it peacefully with pure grace
The view of features pours on me a maze
Why are you wrapped with a scarf on you face? ?
I don't see ugly!
I don't see scarred!
I see beauty that may pause a heart
I cover to reveal my inner soul
Being called pretty is not my goal
I value my self for my creator above
I own dignity and true self love.
I wear this veil to represent my true religion
I am free to choose the veil as free as a free pigeon,
