The Voice 2 Poem by Theo Scott

The Voice 2

I am a Father
A father of two
One an Angel
The other an Imp (devil)

The Angel starves
And is waxed lean
But the Imp Fattens every second
Feasting on my violence

I could take the the first stanza at 'face value', and I kind of liked the whole poem even without understanding it. bri : )

I sort of have this esoteric phenomenon and I write on things that I see in my visions and dreams..that's why they seem mystical

I'd much rather read a poem in which the message/story is straightforward **, though many readers may 'eat up/enjoy' your poem.

I assume you are using symbolism, which I rarely try to use and often don't recognize (as symbolism) or understand. Your PH bio states that you are 'A visionary icon and mystic, philosopher, '
