The Voice Of Love Poem by Rik Bertrand

The Voice Of Love

I have heard the voice of Love today,
It came as I was about to pray.
It whispered sweet nothings in my ear,
And told me that true love; I should not fear.

The voice of love empowered my heart,
It has given it strength so it will not fall a part
Words of praise that soothed the soul
And brought true love from a deep dark hole.

I felt overwhelmed by a vision, from which this voice came
But the beauty was blurred by the ever pouring rain.
The voice was vivid, and of clear purpose,
It brought true love to the surface.

The Voice of love what a beautiful sound
Every word spoken, made my heart beat pound.
Oh, what a way to have true love delivered,
Through the voice of love, my body quivered

REB (MARCH 2012) because today I heard a voice, and it was love.
