The Voices Poem by Tammi Tomlinson

The Voices

The voices,
They fill her head with lies,
Screaming at her to jump,
Fall, cut, deeper, deeper, deeper.

The voices,
Lying,
Saying it's all going to be okay,
She never believes them, never, never, never.

The voices,
Don't talk anymore,
Don't say a word since she fell,
They just watch her blood flow,
Drip, drip, drip.

Until her heart beats no more.
