Dear teacher I have taken vow
That the wisdom you have flown
In each and every drop of my blood
Will be in my body until the sunset
Of my life till the dark silence come
I will spread this wisdom as whispers

Dear teacher I have taken vow
That the confidence you have built
In each and every skeleton of my body
Will stand as pillars until the sunset
Of my life till the dark silence come
I will use these pillars to build the nation

Dear teacher I have taken vow
That the love you have given
As muscle throughout my body
Will connect the pillars and give an identity
Until the dark silence come
I will use this cement to unite the nation

Dear teacher I have taken vow
That the maturity you have provided
As skin throughout the muscle of my body
It will be with me until the sunset
Of my life till the dark silence come
I will create peace in nation by using it

Dear teacher I have taken vow
I will leave footprint from sunrise
To sunset in the sand of time
The depth and breadth of these prints
Depends upon how successful student I am
The source of nectar from your hand
Was always open for me and how much
Nectar I have extracted will decide
The depth and breadth of my footprint

Dear teacher I have taken the vow
That after the dark silence when my body
Buried in mother earth it will spread
Nectar that throughout the world.
