The Wall Poem by Shouvik Roy

The Wall

Rating: 5.0

I sit in silence,
Crossed legs
Gazing at my lonely wall
Thinking-
My love has fallen,
It bleeds and crawls
And I stand afar
Turning my back
No blood I should see
Death cured the disease.
A moment
Without reason,
Gaze deeper and I would know
In the wall lies nothing
But hollow wires
And dead concrete,
Must be stared
Long by a hollow
Dead soul
Like me.
