The Way I Leave Poem by Corey Haddock

The Way I Leave

It's early morning the dew still glitters on the grass.
The birds are singing the sun rise is beautiful
I take the summit and look around
Tree's all around i feel minuscule
I find a boulder out by itself flowers growing around it.
I'm on top of this boulder sitting, thinking.
Contemplating my life.
I hop off the boulder and walk to the edge
Looking down there's deer in the forest
another step...
