The world today is in a state of flux
incoherent energies firing off
avenues of reason and doubt
the intelligent view point and discourse
often over shouted, drowned out
by the ignorant and the angry
falsehood and bullshine echo
louder than fact and truth
the stupid run the show, the system
being corrupt and bent every which way
that politicians, reporters, bureaucrats
tiptoe over egg shells afraid of breaking
over zealous rules and stipulations
made be the same over zealous fools
the ignorant, loud doom seekers
wanting to erode history and law
in the name of their better world
in which we all become imprisoned
in an Orwellian future where wrong speak
or independent thought condemns us
learn from history do not hide it
grow a better future through experience
remember, learn, develop be a human
not a headline obsessed activist
be the intelligent, beautiful, wonderful
life leaning, progressing human
that we all should actually be
