The Weather Poem by John Fuentes

The Weather

Look at the sun running high
As it climbs to the sky
Hear the wind whistle its song
As the trees dance along
Look at the leaves as they jump with glee
As the cool air has its fun
Preparing for what’s to come
As the clouds spread their might
Kidnapping the sun to cover her light
As the world grows dark
The trees lose their spark
As the clouds twist around making its twister
The leaves go in to attack this mister
As the storm comes and rages on
It stops after a while when day turns into dawn
Now as the moon takes his flight
The stars start to dance and make things aright
