The White Elephant In The Zoo Poem by Kevin Patrick

The White Elephant In The Zoo

Rating: 5.0

A white elephant lodged in a fancy dressed Zoo
On weekends at noon she would wear a pink tutu
The Crowds would laugh throwing peanuts and cashews

She would flip them her paw and profanity spews

Here best friend was a giraffe with a terrible stutter
Who lived in a pen(t) house of organized clutter
To pass the time they played games of backgammon
while the elephant ate snacks she hid in a napkin
Sometimes she'd sip cups of chocolate milkshakes
she'd steal from kids over the gates
and jeer with her trunk right in their face

One day the Giraffe said during a match
"Yoooooou should be miiiiiiindful
of your weeeight"
Then the elephant laughed
and shook her trunk on his back
"Im big and im sexy
Cause I got skin of jelly
Besides
I've got steamy vigor
in my classy figure"

Then she licked her lips
and shook her hot hips

"Why do you think Elephant
rhymes well with elegant"

Quite an interesting poem with lovely images. This could well be turned into a children's rhyme of great value. Thanks a lot.
