The Whole Life Is, But A Dream. Poem by MOHAMMAD SKATI

The Whole Life Is, But A Dream.

Love is not
As it used to be,
Hate is greatly, but
A bad sin,
Wars are on the increase and
Peace dwindles day by day,
Hunger is anywhere and even
Everywhere,
Stray dogs howl loudly
Whenever anyone crosses
In front of them,
Life is not
As it used to be,
Everything becomes dierent even
Our words,
Nothing remains
As is,
Any pretty dream turns into
A bad nightmare
For many and many reasons,
Life distances us
From each other
For different reasons,
Colors are not lovely
As they used to be,
There is not any lovely chilhood
As it used to be,
The whole life gets worse and
Even worse around,
No one is happy, but
Most of the people are sad,
Hard times are the hard center of life,
A dream turns to a nightmare
Just to break the whole life
Around us anytime...

The Whole Life Is, But A Dream.
