The "Why" Poem by Ana Liza Corpuz Nabor

Alone in the darkest cave of affection,
Swarming dreadfully but with hovering fun.
Searching for an anonymous one
Who could answer her why.

Out from it and see the light,
Unquenchable fire in her sight.
Anxiously shivering,
Can't find the answer to her "why"

Running as lightning
then swiftly she's in the rising of sun
Delightful from escaping the scorching fire,
But this hope she had was forfeited in a while.

It's already dusk and she's in dusk.
Walking with menace,
Trembling with tired face; when
Suddenly a shadow came
Appeared surprisingly, overwhelmed she stand still

Now smiling,
Watching their reflections in pair
"Finally! "
She found the answer.
