The Wind's Lullaby Poem by Wayne Leon Learmond

The Wind's Lullaby

A cool wind is blowing
Across the land tonight.

The stars are shining
brightly.

In the darkness of
Twilight.

The trees are whispering
silently.

The birds,
have taken flight.

And the wind -
she hums - a song of old
And kisses the land goodnight.
