The Wish Poem by denis mwangi

The Wish

Rating: 3.5

the clouds move in,
fear and doubt,
questions without answers,
unsolved riddles,
is he truly real?
I'm I walking in his will?

If death would find me
while I'm yet in Christ,
before the devil corrupts my mind
and slowly destroys my heart,
what joy would I find
in the heavenly places.
no sadness or pain
just peace and calmness.
is it not written,
to leave is Christ
and to die is gain.
