The Word Of God Is Our Hallelujah

The Word of God is our Hallelujah
It is our yea and amen
The final authority for faith and practice
Available still for men
When we explore its pages
We'll find a treasure there
Its kept alive by the Holy Spirit
And administered to our hearts through prayer

Moved by the Spirit of God
The Holy men of old
Took up a scroll and with a quill
Made a record of what they were told
God put it all together
And revealed it in sixty six books
Not one Word more or one Word less
Its completeness still exists!

What perfection of gifting
Everything that men needs to know
In regards to having a relationship with God
The Bible tells Him so
No wonder we're told to preach it
And to teach the Word as well
It tells us of two pathways that exist
Oneof which leads to Heaven
And the other one which leads to Hell

God gives you freedom to use your own will
The choice is up to you
You can lay aside the truths found therein
Or read it all the way through
The greatest Book in the world
For its packed chuck full of truth
Wise is the man who reads it
And applies it to His life through and through

For it's not the hearers that are blessed
But the doers of the Word
Faithful is He who calls you
When the Word of God is read
It's purposed for you to find Jesus
For He's everywhere present there
You'll find Him in the Holy writ
If you're seeking with a heart sincere!

You haven't got all the time in the world
Who knows of your day's departure
How much of the Word have you learned
To guarentee your rapture
Satan has a heyday
When men neglect the Word
For He knows they'll miss out on its greatest truth and blessing
That of coming to know the Lord!

So I hope your soul is excited
To check out God's Holy Word
You know you've neglected it for years now
To its teachings you've not adhered
There's a gracious loving Father
Awaiting for you to discover
The love of God in Jesus Christ
Who is found between its covers!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
