The Word That The Virtuous People Have Given The Helping Hand!
The sound of a drum beaten by a short stick
over the black eye like central portion of it
is heard by people upto ten miles!
The sound of the thunder from the sky
can be heard to the distance between 8-100 miles!
The word that the virtuous people have given
the helping hand to the poor and needy
will be heard by all the three world set in the universe
in the order of one above the other!
This poem 'The word that the virtuous people have given the helping hand! ' is a translation by me of a poem from Tamil literature 'Naalatiyaar'
ஒருவிகற்ப இன்னிசை வெண்பா
கடிப்பிடு கண்முரசம் காதத்தோர் கேட்பர்;
இடித்து முழங்கியதோர் யோசனையோர் கேட்பர்
அடுக்கிய மூவுலகுங் கேட்குமே சான்றோர்
கொடுத்தா ரெனப்படுஞ் சொல்.100 ஈகை, நாலடியார்
