The Words I Gently Write Poem by Gen Doe

The only one that'll listen,
At any given time,
Without needing a why,
Are these words I gently write.
Wont ever give away my secrets,
Nor betray my trust,
Judge the things I do,
Or reprimand me when I'm wrong.
The words my pen creates,
So smoothly, so natural,
Need no explanation.
They just offer comfort;
The thing I need the most.
They hold me back from insanity;
And pull me to myself.
Throw far all my problems,
Leaving me in serenity,
Short lived serenity.
